Description:
Flowers are the epitome of light, carefree, and positive energy, all things you need! I created this class to teach you how to paint whimsical wildflowers using a wet into wet watercolor technique. Layering and creating smaller strokes that blend together and create density without becoming overwhelming. All skill levels are welcome!
Watercolor is such a relaxing medium, from teaching over 200+ workshops I notice the room goes silent sometimes with concentration and everyone getting really in tune with their creativity but then there are breaks of laughter and discovery. I have found the first mark is always the most challenging for people so when you join me I promise we will ease into it together and it will not seem so scary.
The purpose of my workshops is to have fun and enjoy yourself while hopefully learning a few new skills that you didn’t have prior to the class. As long as you have fun expressing yourself then that is a win win all around! So whether you have never picked up a paint brush or paint palette on the regular, I structure my classes to be open to all students.
