Join me for a lovely Thursday evening of painting & shopping. I have teamed up with the local boutique urbAna to host a 2 hour tulip painting watercolor class.
We will be painting from live tulips. We will create an 11x14” watercolor tulip painting. The style is wet on wet, which is a looser form of painting and more forgiving. All skill levels are welcome! Just in time to celebrate Mother’s Day!
It is important to note we welcome all! That includes: turtle moms, plant parents, aunties, friends, and non mom's, so really anyone looking to enjoy a night out.
urbAna is a lovely local boutique that offers a fun mix of home goods and celebrations. You can’t leave without finding something you love! I know, believe me :) They have graciously offered their space to host in their NEW GILBERT LOCATION! It is located at the Epicenter, right next to Agritopia farm.
The purpose of my workshops is to help you embrace your creative spirit and take creative chances together. In the process I want you to experience something new and have fun. This is why my workshops are open to all skill levels, so whether you have never picked up a paint brush or paint on the regular, I structure my classes to be open to all students.
The class includes all material. You will receive a kit with everything you need, and there is always extra paint leftover that you can take home and continue your practice.
Included: watercolor paper, watercolor paint, watercolor brush, paper towel, material for practice + guided teaching
Take is as a lovely evening for yourself, with a loved one and just to have some fun!
Rachel graduated with her BFA in Painting and since has taught 1000’s of students how to create beautiful pieces through watercolor. She is a published author of "Watercolor Botanical Garden: A Modern Approach to Painting Bold Flowers, Plants, and Cacti" You can learn all about it and get your copy here
