Spring 2025 Watercolor Workshop : Botanicals Native to Italy
Event: New Spring Watercolor Workshop : Botanicals Native to Italy
Date: May 17, 2025
Time: 9:30 am Arizona Time
Type: Virtual, Zoom, if you canβt join live you will get a replay!
Join me this Spring for a creative session dive into the botanicals natively grown in Italy. This spring session I want to take you out of the desert and into the world to explore all of the beauty in nature it has to offer. Think of it as an early holiday break. We will focus on a variety of 6 different plants that highlight the Italian scene:
Italian Opuntia Cactus, Primula Appennina, Orange Tree Flowers, Cyclamen Leaves, Crocus Flower, Italian Rose.
The color palette is going to be a mix of deep yellow, rose, lilac, grey, ivy and natural green.
All skill levels are welcome!
Bring your watercolor brushes, watercolor paper and a variety of paint colors!
Suggested materials:
Watercolor paints - deep yellow, rose, lilac, grey, ivy and natural green, in this range. IF you donβt have the exact colors donβt worry, you can still work with what you have!
Mixing Palette (you can use a ceramic plate or a palette you have)
Brushes - watercolor brush size 6 or 8 round and 1 or 2 for details
2 x Cups of Water, so you can use one for lighter colors and the other for darker colors
Paper Towels
8 Sheets Watercolor paper - Iβll be using my 140lb cold press Strathmore Vision paper but any 140lb/300gms watercolor paper will work. I suggest the 140lb because it helps keep the structure
Scrap watercolor paper, if you have, to test colors
The workshop will be hosted through Zoom and a room link will be sent to the email provided the week of the workshop.
By Purchasing you agree all material provided for the workshop and during the workshop is copyright of Pink Puddle Studio LLC and cannot be distributed and/or resold without permission.
