I suggest a 9Γ12 or 11x14 sheet. I will be working from an 11x14 watercolor coldpress paper. Here is a link to suggested pads. You could also use a watercolor sketchbook!
I suggest a variety of watercolor paint colors : yellows, oranges, greens, pinks and yellows. For brushes : mix of round watercolor brushes: #2, #6, #8 and oval brush. Donβt worry if you only have a certain size, you could always work with it for this practice. paper towel, 2 cups of water, and artist tape if you want to tape down your paper, not necessary.
If you ever need some inspiration for watercolor materials check out my video on my art journal year https://www.pinkpuddlestudio.com/art-journal/getting-started-with-watercolor-series-part-2and3
The purpose of my workshops is to help you embrace your creative spirit and take creative chances together. In the process I want you to experience something new and have fun. This is why my workshops are open to all skill levels, so whether you have never picked up a paint brush or paint on the regular, I structure my classes to be open to all students.
